Using collage techniques, my work incorporates uncontrolled but planned elements that emphasize the unpredictable within each work. Since they are not edition pieces, I think of the work more as paintings rather than prints. Some of the materials I work with include; glass, wood, Plexiglas, encaustic paint, shellac, pigment stick, powdered graphite, tea, coffee, rust, paprika powder, gold & silver leaf, and enamel paint. Some of the techniques I incorporate are digital phtography and photo-silkscreen printmaking.

My work plays with the theme of likeness as an ilusive quality, and something that can be pushed and pulled with varying degree. Although my work includes photographic process, I am more interested in the physical hands on approach that painting and printmaking can embrace.
